Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a diligent Accounting Clerk/Admin to join their team in North Carolina. This role requires a highly organized individual to support the accounting department, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the accounting team with invoicing and other accounting duties, including vendor management within accounts payable.
  • Answering phones and directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Supporting the accounting team in daily administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless workflow.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with vendor management and accounts payable is preferred.

Required Work Hours

The position is full-time, with work hours from Monday to Friday, aligning with first shift hours.
